Terms and Conditions for Civils Prep

Welcome to Civils Prep, an online platform dedicated to UPSC preparation. By using our platform and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before accessing or using our website, products, and services.

By accessing Civils Prep, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our platform.

Civils Prep’s services are available to individuals preparing for UPSC and other civil service examinations. By using our platform, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the services.

You may be required to register an account to access certain features or courses. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to use Civils Prep solely for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise authorized by us. Any misuse, duplication, or unauthorized sharing of content will result in termination of services.

At Civils Self Prep, we aim to deliver high-quality services and resources for UPSC preparation. However, we understand that situations may arise where users might seek a refund. Below is the final refund policy applicable to all courses and any other offerings under Civils Self Prep.

• No Refunds After Activation: Once any Civils Self Prep course or kit has been activated or accessed, no refunds will be provided. This includes access to any part of the course such as mentorship sessions, study materials, tests, or other resources.
• Eligibility for Refund: Refunds may be considered only in the following situations:
  • Non-delivery of services: If any key service included in the package is not delivered due to technical or administrative issues.
  • Payment errors: In case of duplicate or erroneous payments, users can request a refund upon providing proof of error.

• Users must contact customer support at [Contact Information] within 7 days of purchase to request a refund. The request must include:
  • Full name
  • Purchase details (order ID, date of purchase)
  • Reason for requesting a refund
• Civils Self Prep reserves the right to ask for additional documentation or evidence to support the refund claim.
• If approved, refunds will be processed within 90 business days from the approval date and credited to the original payment method.

• No refunds will be provided once any of the following services or resources are accessed:
  • One-to-One Video Mentorship
  • Prelims Prep Booster (3000 Questions)
  • Mains Prep Booster
  • Personalized Strategy & Timetable
  • Prelims + Mains Test Series
  • Hardcopy Study Material is dispatched
  • Got Answer Evaluations

• No refunds will be issued based on dissatisfaction with study material, tests, or feedback, as these are subjective and depend on individual expectations.

For users opting to purchase Civils Self Prep courses through an installment payment plan, the following terms apply:

• No Refunds After Activation: Once the course is activated or any service/resource is accessed (e.g., mentorship, study materials, tests, Answer evaluated etc ), no refund will be provided, even if the user is on an installment payment plan.

• Cancellation Before Activation: Users who have selected the installment plan but have not yet activated or accessed any services may cancel their subscription and request a refund of the first installment. The request must be made within 7 days of the initial payment.

• No Refund for Paid Installments: If a user has accessed any services or resources under the installment plan, no refunds will be provided for any payments already made.

• Cancellation of Future Installments: Users who wish to discontinue the course after making partial payments can cancel future installments. However, no refund will be issued for any amount already paid. To cancel future payments, users must contact Civils Self Prep at least 7 days before the next scheduled payment.

• Outstanding Balance: If services have been accessed, users are obligated to complete remaining installment payments. Failure to do so may result in suspension of services and legal action to recover the outstanding balance.

• Default on Installment Payments: Civils Self Prep reserves the right to:
  • Suspend access to services until payment is made.
  • Charge late fees or penalties.
  • Pursue legal action to recover the outstanding balance if installments are not paid as agreed.

• In case of duplicate charges or errors during payment processing, users must report the issue within 7 days. Civils Self Prep will investigate the claim, and if verified, issue a refund for the overcharged amount.

• For any refund-related queries, users can contact Civils Self Prep.

By purchasing any course or kit from Civils Self Prep, users acknowledge and agree to this refund policy. All refund requests will be handled in accordance with the terms outlined above.

Civils Prep reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform or its services at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable for any interruptions or changes to the service.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purposes.
• Post or share inappropriate, harmful, or misleading content.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Civils Prep or others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or any accounts.

Your use of Civils Prep is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the platform, you consent to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Civils Prep is not responsible for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from your use of the platform, including errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the content provided. The platform is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Civils Prep reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform without notice if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in any conduct that is harmful to the platform or other users.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Bhopal, India.

Civils Prep may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
